We are Benno and Lara. Benno is a web programmer with Transmogrifier E-Solutions. He works from home and in his spare time learns Kanji, Korean and other fun things on the internet. Lara is a science teacher. She teaches at Gyosei International School in Kisarazu and enjoys cooking, knitting, learning beginners Japanese and planning the next travel adventure.
We got married in 2005 in Adelaide, Australia, and have a happy vegan house. We have been living and working in Kisarazu city, Chiba prefecture, Japan since March 2009.
From April 2010 we will be travelling home to Australia overland through Japan, South Korea, China, Tibet, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia. We plan on eating lots of local vegan food and avoiding air travel as much as possible.
Hi Lara and Benno

Hi Lara and Benno,
I like your pictures. Japan looks nice. Crows are winning by a lot; thought you might like to know.
Have a good holidays, Meg will post stuff about our holiday when we get back. We can have a “blog-off”, western-style.
