Despite the lack of TLC and the plain neglect given to our garden by the tenants in our time away, the fruit trees are recovering and showing signs of enjoying the spring weather. Now we just have to get the vegie garden back in order and clear out the 18 months worth of weeds…
- One of the hardiest natives that we planted out the front – Acacia Myrtilfolia, or Myrtle Wattle
- Now grown into a big bush which hopefully the birds will like, Kangaroo Thorn or Acacia Paradoxa
- Apricot blossom with lovely red buds before the petals open out.
- Yay! We have bees in our garden pollinating the plum flowers. The back legs look a little scary though.
- I don’t remember what this is called, but it has very colourful flowers.
- PEAS! Abundant peas, given by the number of flowers.
- Peach blossom.
- More peach blossom.
- There are masses of bright pink daisy flowers out the front.
- Delicate pink blossoms on the plum.
- Plum blossom with a few spider’s webs.
